It just stretches people too far if someone is claiming things are so tight costs of stamps are even issue, and then take a look at someone's collection, as opposed to trade/sale list, and see cards one could think could easily turn into some cash that could provide help if things were that tight. I've seen a couple similar posts asking people to buy some of their cards because of financial issues, and I take a look at their cards for sale and pickings are slim while their own collection has quite a few cards I would think desiresble to a lot of people who, under circumstances, would buy them probably at generous prices as opposed to taking advantage of situation (I also would think some people might try to take advantage but, then again, if someone is willing to help by buying some cards they otherwise weren't going to, it also wouldn't be out of line of person selling doing something within means to give a little in terms of a price/deal; and person also could avoid this by just not saying they had financial issues and just call attention to cards being sold people would be interested in). I'm all for helping people in tough times, but figuring out the real deal and whether someone really hasn't utilized their own available resources, is next to impossible.
