I've searched the forums for an answer, but no luck.  I'm new to COMC and trying to understand some basics.  I'll see a card listed with the note "23 from $1.00" for example.  Then click on the card to see the 23 available with many prices starting under $1.00.  Is the difference between the lowest price of the individual cards and the $1.00 COMC's fee (excluding shipping)?

No  Each seller sets their price so prices of that card may vary widely.   

If you are in simple mode the price includes the .25 handling fee.  The cheapest shipping fee is $4.99 so it is best to buy and let them hold them for you until you get a larger number of cards so it is cheaper shipping (per card).

If you are in advance mode you will have to pay the .25 handling fee plus the shipping fee (which ever shipping way you choice) at the time you request shipment.

If I list a card for $1.00, it will get lumped into that category of "x listed from $1.00".

If I then run a sale on my page, it will still be part of that category, even if the actual sale price is now $0.75.

If you go to one of these cards, you should see the lower price in green, with the higher (original) price crossed out.

Here's a Paul Coffey example. On my seller screen, this card says "5 from $3.50-$4.75". The lowest price is actually $3.25 because it's "on sale". The lowest "original" price is $3.75 (or $3.50 plus COMC's $0.25 add-on).

Note that this only applies when as a seller, you run a sale. If you drop the price, this won't change. If you run a sale, it will.

OK, so the difference only seems to be when I'm signed into COMC.  I registered for an account just earlier today.  Here's an example:

The fourth group says "19 from $1.39" but when I click on that group, I see the lowest starting at $0.99 and a bunch of others under $1.39.  

Jasongerman9, I followed your link but the numbers I see don't match.  

If I'm not signed into COMC, the lowest individual card price matches the from price.  

19 from $1.39 - I think this updates every hour.

Interesting. Perhaps it does have something to do with being logged in and not being logged in. Maybe I just never noticed and always attributed it to the sale process I mentioned.

I do know that you don't have to have an account with COMC to buy from them, but you get a better price if you do (hence the differences when you're logged in/not logged in).

Some could be timing issues but there are 8 cards under $1.39 listed from various sellers.  Seems unlikely that 8 lowered their price in the last hour.  

They don't always match from the search screen to the actual card listing, but usually they are more expensive, not less. Consider yourself lucky, you've found a deal!
