I just Googled the mailing address that is on the transaction and it appears to be invalid...the street address does not exist in the city and the postal zip code does not exist in the state or even in the United States. Something smells!

That's taking it to the next level. He probably thought that people have moved before, so it sounded like a good way to cheat some people out of cards. It's sad to see this happen, and I am lucky to have made trades with people who actually care about this type of stuff.

I should have known when his "name" on the address was just his username that it was questionable but he had enough feedback that I didn't question it.

Haven't transacted with this member, but had some thoughts reading through the comments. 1) Good to mention you're moving and alert people on your profile. 2) As suggested, it may be a good idea to turn off trading while moving so items don't fall through the cracks (or fall off the truck). 3) Good detective work on the addy.

I am always a little leery of trades that the user has no proper name or just uses his TCDB id

I can't explain the address thing, but he does have 100% positive feedback from 91 transactions. including many from members I have traded with. Should we be rushing to judgment so quickly?

I'm puzzled about the bad address and zip code. Am I missing something? Wouldn't that just cause your envelope to be returned to you as undeliverable? (And guessing these must have been PWE into a mailbox because the post office attendant nearly always checks the address when I go to the counter)

Correct, I sent PWE and I am sure most here did as well. I dropped it off in a postal mail box so no clerk was involved. With the recent/established feedback, all signs point to a legit user. I dont' know if the address has changed since then or not. My transaction shows cards sent by both members shortly after the transaction was accepted...it's been crickets since then.

But you dont see the address until both parties accepted, and looking at the feedback and even points for contributing to this site, everything looks good.

This is the new address that was on my transaction: 1312 W. Encino Torrance, CA 90905. It appears to be a warehouse by Goggle. His old address was in Bolivar, MO. This is why I would like to see address stay with the transactions.
If anyone is on Instagram maybe some one can contact him that way
