Reminiscing about the time(1979) I found a "wholesaler" back in the late 70's who sold full boxes of baseball cards, kinda felt like he wanted to supply corner stores.
Imagine my absolute delight 36 packs for 5$!
Fast forward to now, too fast for sure and unless you get nice bulk deals you're paying way too much especially for new in pack products.
As many know there is no rush, its' never too late to finish that set from the 60's or 70's or shouldn't you have finished it by now jeez it's going on 50+ years!
The prices for new products are insanely high, and is it our fault?
Build it and they will come, so they did, they built them more and more expensive and we,they, breakers and everyone kept on consuming regardless of price.
What if they and all just stopped, at least for 1 product like Definitive for example which runs around 2k a box, yup imagine 2000$ for 8 cards or so give or take the possibility of a redemption= avg. price 250$ per card and yes the mind is lost.
Have you seen those frauddy looking Dual Arozarena/Meadows auto relics?
Yeah we'll never know, but is 10% of any of this stuff authentic?
I get it the 70's are gone or should someone make repacks for a quarter?
Could we all just collectively boycott a product?
Notice the surge in brick and mortar stores in the hobby?
Why would they?
Maybe a good idea no need to list them to a website......
Chest cleared for now,
Love(this darn hobby)
