I bought various sizes of Ultra Pro plactic boxes. The so-called 10-card box only fits about 8. I'm pretty sure the cards are standard thickness. Anybody encounter something similar?
When I say "fits", I mean if you hold the box completely flat with the lid completely open, and shake side-to-side, the cards don't slide around.

Had the experience where some (don't know the brands) have flat lids/tops, where
all the cards are in the lower part and others with recessed tops that hold several cards....
Actually have a 200/250 container that opens in the middle,100/125 cards in each part...
It came with a bundle I picked up, otherwise would never think of using such a thing (for keeping cards up
for trade)....

Wal Mart carries a plastic crayon box in school supplies. It is a perfect fit for 50 cards in penny sleeves. I have a hundred or so with Team Sets, Insert Sets, etc. $1 a piece.

I love those crayon boxes from Walmart. I keep 3 in my suitcase in case I buy cards away from home. They are a great way to store cards until you get back home and can put them where they are going to go.

Have to look those up...
Deck Boxes (w/50 penny sleeves) are $5.98 in the Walmart here.....
Well, sleeves with solid backs that is...
How well do they fit in 2/4 row boxes????

Recessed top is actually what it has. I just get nervous when I close the lid with the top card(s) not held firm by the lower part of the box.

I need to check that out. At a buck each, it'd be a reasonable (and kind) way to ship trades w/o fear of damage.

Peace and cards, David Building up baseball sets slowly but, well, slowly. Residence in New England has no bearing on my favorite teams, players, or how I pronounce "card." Forgave my dad for putting his '52 Mantle in his bike spokes, but not my brother for plastering his room with my Star Wars stickers.

Yeah those top cards always try to slide around and I have to be very careful not to pinch them

Here they are $1.24....
Top comes off, not sure about the latches that hold them on.....
Dropped them a couple times (had the dropses all month) and tops came
off every time.....
Need to see what boxes they fit into or what I need to store them in....

I LOVE the crayon boxes...thought I had come up with an original idea...oh well...
I live in NC and the Walmart here haven't been carrying them in any of the sizes but I found the exact product on accident at the Dollar Tree ($1.25 Tree). Just adding this incase anyone goes out looking.
