I've been collecting Rockies cards since their inception in 1993. One of my goals has been to get at least one card for every player who has appeared in a game. I did finally get there not that long ago. Of course every year there are new players and some guys are harder than others to find a card for. The Rockies currently have 620 players (per bbref). I'm waiting for a card of the newest guy to come in the mail to get me back to 100%. I'm curious if anyone else is trying to do this with any teams?
It's not possible in the NBA, since the largest set in a 525 man league is only 250 players. I am working on my Names Project for all three sports, every person to ever get a card in NASCAR, NBA and NHL. I don't think I will ever finish but that's not the point, the journey is the point.

Back home, willing to trade again but very slow at the moment since I'm seriously physically exhausted from my trip.
That would be impossible for most fan bases but I think it is great that you are able to do that. I think that even if someone was a Rockies fan and decided to start now, it would be pretty tough to go back and get all of those cards. Definitely something you need to start early and stick with, as you did.
I do this for the Cubs. I have over 1,000 different players, and I'd guess there are probably several hundred I'm missing mainly due to their Cubs card being rare or expensive. I only collect a card of when they were with the Cubs.

Trades will ship in PWE unless other arrangements are made.
I wouldn't even attempt that as an STL Cardinals fan. The list would be thousands of people. I just try to keep adding Cardinals cards I don't have. I'm over 8500 total STL cards now but I know at least a couple hundred are duplicates. I have been trying to add older STL cards from years where I don't have one yet. I have at least one card for every year from 1957-2022 and just got a 1953 card recently.
I have 13 binders now. Most are 3-4" ones but a couple are 2" or less. I also include Minor League cards, so that would add a bunch of players that never made it up to STL. I didn't even think about the Minors during my previous reply. So who else also collects the MiLB cards for their team as well as the MLB cards/players?

I have 1100 + diff Cardinals in 2 binders. Included are minors. It is cool to see the different eras and brands on same page.
I have a set of every Royal, using cards labeled as Royals and/or showing the player in a Royals uniform where possible, and showing them as Royals minor leaguers as the next-best option. Becomes a nice history project when arranged chronologically.
