I've been looking for cards to complete several rainbows for a long time. I check eBay maybe 20 times a day for these. I also will check Mercari even though everything is insanely overpriced there. I'm just curious where else people use to find cards to buy or trade? I haven't found much else other than those big 2, and maybe Twitter if you're lucky. Thanks so much for the help!

If it's for baseball you can try cardbarell.com. For all sports there is also sportlots.com. If you have access to a local show that may work as well.

COMC, since they are sonsignment, they might not have it as quickly as ebay will, but you might have some luck there.

-- Dan -- Note: Please see my profile for more info regarding trading (section updated 10/25/2023). I have added a large portion of my inventory to the site, and currently have trading turned off (details are in my profile). I have (finally) unearthed my 2 very large boxes of Star Company minor league sets and they are available (email for details).

Most of the cards I buy are from either my Local Card Shop or online at COMC. In the past I have purchased on ebay sometimes with less than stellar results so I no longer buy cards there. I very rarely buy retail at say Target or the W-store.

Beckett Marketplace as well. I avoided that place for the longest time, but I've actually found some good deals lately. Searching on there can be a pain though.

Lately it has been purchases from Ebay, Sportlots, baseball group break on SCC (Sports Cards Club) and transactions (trades and purchases) here on TCDB.

For specific cards, I look on different FB groups I'm in, monthly card shows at one of the local malls, or from folks on here. For huge lots I buy stuff on FB or online auctions.

For me it's trading here and buying from local flea markets or antique malls. I've bought a couple things off evilBay; but not a lot.

I have gone to baseballcardstore.ca a few times and looked around. I haven't gotten around to making a purchase, but the site seemed pretty cool. And I believe the owners have an account here as well.
I did notice though that they used to charge 10 cents a card but now everything seems to be 20 cents.
