Yup...I use or have used Beckett. It's simple. They give a high/low column for pricing. It can change over time as the teams and players reflect their play and effort. This site (TCDB) uses a median price range. This means somewhere in the middle of market value and through a series of 5 or more entries of that same card over time, I believe is how it works, to gain the median price. Both sites are great for cross referencing and checking of cards pricing and checklists and as well as finding each has cards listed at times the other does not. This site is best for overall help and knowledge and I think trust as well. It's pricing is typically correct and often enough to be trusted in most cases. There is always going to be something wrong with pricing on every site or agency. This one has a great forum and doesn't shark me for money or subscriptions. Bonus! I like both but prefer TCDB. At first I was like this stuff is terrible give me back that Beckett. But as time went by I began to see how it worked and the cool way you can catalog the cards and collections and the Forum and Community these folks put in place is just superlative to anything Beckett ever had. I'm 48 years old so I know about Beckett and live here in the Dallas area where they are based. I said it was simple... but maybe it's not. It "takes a village" to try and do card collecting, trading, or selling correctly and without the whole of them all you probably won't have the same amount of success as when you do. But this site will be where I go first for all my attempts to be accurate or need help with my collecting needs.
