Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Sorry, I'm in the southern, tropical Dakota. And even then, almost in Nebraska.

I was born and raised in North Dakota. Douglas/Garrison so your neck of the woods. Ended up moving to Iowa for school and staying for my wife. And the winters. My goodness the winters are so much better here. I hope you are enjoying your April blizzard

I now live in North Carolina. Evidently I have an affinity for states with the word North in them. Because of the population, we have good size card shows along with card shops. I know in Minot, we only had Tom's coin and card shop. He started off in the early 70's located in the old Metropolitan building, downtown The building that had the big "M" ontop of it. When I was growing up, it was the tallest building in Minot and had an esculator. Only esculator in Minot, at that time. Tom is extremely challenging to be around, so I did not buy but one card, that I recall from him. He was the only card shop in town and I dont recall any card shows. It probably has not changed much.
