Just some thoughts seeking opinions.
What if people stopped opening the types of products like 2020-21 UD Premier Hockey 500$ with 6 crappy cards Topps Dynasty BB etc
and all other highly priced "premium" products?
Is the problem that they are building it , and the people keep coming for them?
So they figure wth let's make it like mining for diamonds (which have been in/on the cards since the mid-90's Zenith)
For X$ amount you get a chance to....
While things are still booming will there be a hard crash because the majority of us simply refuse to pay the big prices or have we been totally replaced with deep-pocketed gamblers willing to shell out insane amounts on new GOAT materials?
Seems like there may just be too many breakers and youtubers to break the trend of overly priced merch or are the prices just correctly adjusted to inflation among other economic factors?
I get that variety is a spice, not all products can go back to being just 50 cents a pack(which could have been another problem) perhaps creating not enough value when you're only paying a cent or less per card fresh out the pack in the 70's.
