I got a Varitek 1/1 on eBay for like $60 when it should've sold for $100+; as soon as I paid for it I got a refund and a message on eBay saying he had lost the card. So I just let it go but a few days later the same guy relisted the same item with a reserve of $100 lol.

1958 Topps Harmon Killebrew. Guy had a great price and I for some reason might have acted like a jerk, (not in a mean and offensive way,) and didnt pull the trigger and I am 99.99% sure that card is gone now. I also turned down a not so reasonable price for a 1968 Topps Carew and a 1967 Topps Seaver RC for $1200. (Not that I could afford that anyway .)

I've been waiting for years to find a 2005 All Time Fan Favorites Rainbow Auto /10 for my Kevin McReynolds collection. It's the last piece I really need, and I'd never even seen one come up for sale anywhere until a few years ago, buried in a huge lot on eBay... that I completely forgot to bid on.
Blargh.

1954 Topps Hank Aaron. As a kid who started collecting in the mid 70s, I remember this for sale for $20 back then.

1982 and 1983 Wrestling All Stars set. I got back into collecting 2010 or so, and put together some sets of baseball and football.I stopped at 1967,Im sure you can guess why, and started collecting basketball and hockey. This is around 2015,and looking back would have been a great time to pick up two 36 card sets.Hogan and Flair are in the thousands now, even Bruiser Brody is a hundred. I cant kick myself to hard, I was totally thinking about Star Micheal Jordan, and Parkhurst Gordie Howe. Yup, thats my one big regret. Somebody should start a new forum with this question- What was the first thing you looked up on Youtube?Mine was Superfly Snuka off the top of the cage,he did it against Bob Backlund, and against Don Muraco. He lost both matches, but the Superfly didnt care, he did it for the fans Brudda !!!

1952 Topps #1 Andy Pafko Red Back in Near-Mint condition. Could have had it for $400.00 last year. Now I would be happy with Excellent to EX-MT condition, just to add to PC . . .

Here's another vote for a 1948 Musial RC; could have picked up an EX example in exchange for my first summer HS job's paycheck.
What was I thinking? Seriously, what WAS I thinking?
