I plan on leaving mine to different people in my will that I believe will keep them. I am 60 now and nearing that age as my health problems increase. I don't have children to leave them to. That is out.

My only children are furry ones and they just like to sit on cards and sleep in the boxes....
My plan is to leave everything to my brother. He can keep what he wants and then there will be a gigiantic estate auction for what's left and all the money gets split between animal rescues and a few other non-profits.

I am old but still adding cards to my PC. Hoping to get rid of my nephew's cards this year. My brother (nephew's dad) is haveing a sale later this year and plan on putting them in it. As far as my PC I have several names that my wife or son can contact to sell or give them to. Though about giving them to the University of Nebraska but I do not think they would want them

Kool. Furry animals do love boxes. Also a great idea with the rescues and charities.

I don't have kids either (or nieces/nephews) so I will probably just sell everything at some point when I'm retired or if someone in my extended family takes care of me when I get older then leave the collection to them.

That's a good idea. I just hope I don't end up in a nursing home where I know the government will get everything. I worked hard all my life to get all my riches.

My wife's original idea was to bury my cards with me. Since I plan on being cremated she'll probably use them for kindling.

I always joke with my wife that she can sell them all when I die and use it to take a honeymoon with her new husband. All kidding aside, she knows, since we have no kids, that we have nobody to take them. Assuming her brother (who is a few years older than me) is not alive at the time, I told her to find someone who buys collections. I told her to keep my Teemu collection or I will haunt her. I worked most of my life on it, so even if it sits in an attic, I don't want it scattered in the wind.

~Aaron~ Please check "My Finnish Flash Collection" to see which cards I am looking for with my PC - willing to trade or buy anything I need. 2,174 unique Teemu cards....and counting (Last updated 22 April 2024) 828+ different Brett cards....and counting
