Well, this is outright bragging, but yesterday I finished adding two shelves to the shelves I built years ago for my Last Topps (Base) Card of Every HOFer Who has a Topps Card display. As virtually all of you know, I made this list years ago, update it every year, and was able obtain all of these cards. When I made the shelves from scratch, I was pretty proud of it. It's not perfect, but I'm not a carpenter. I don't even work with wood. But I'm mildly handy and designed the whole thing, then built it from scratch. I'm especially proud of the little groove I chiseled into each shelf to keep the cards from slipping.
I had what I thought was about five years' worth of space at the end. But then HOFers started falling from trees and I ran out of room with the latest group of five inductees. I was gonna let it go, but my backup daughter, who helped me build the first one, insisted I expand the shelving. Expanding it was possibly more difficult than building it in the first place. But now all the cards are on there, and I've got room for about 25 more cards, depending on whether they're vertical or horizonal.
Anyway, I still consider it to be glorious, so I share it here again, hopefully successfully using IMJUR.
Happy collecting!
