Content is everything...just don't do the same thing over and over. Here are some suggestions for anyone creating a channel.
1. Don't feed into the comments. People can be very opinionated, but feeding into them creates trolls.
2. Set up filters for you comments to avoid people leaving comments that are inappropriate...remember, kids view your channel, so language both in the video and in the comments should be avoided.
3. Don't create a channel on YouTube (YT) thinking your going to make money off of it. With 1200 plus subscribers I cannot get close enough to the watch hours required for YT to start paying me for monitization.
4. Have fune with it...my channel is all about sharing my experiance in collecting with others. Everyone on there knows I like the Detroit Tigers...with that said, I don't bash other teams or player on my favorite team or any other team...it turns people away.
5. Get a tripod...a shaky camera gives some people motion sickness.
6. Mix your content up...dont always do pack rips, or player pc, or finds. Sometimes its neat to see finds, but its also neat to give sound advise on collecting or shair some stories of your past collecting when you got a great deal or made a great find.
7. Talk to your viewers...they like a story.
8. Don't make your videos to fancy where you need to do a lot of editing. I try to shoot in one cut. Its more original if you can think it through and then just go on the fly.
9. Posting daily will burn you out.
10. Keep it real...fake content or made up content is a sign of desperation for click or click bait.
Most important...have fun with it!!!
