I have been personally affected by this delay. Although I live outside of Baltimore, my local post office uses the Baltimore Regional Destribution Center. I have been waiting on one inbound trade from Indiana that was mailed htree weeks ago. Another one of my partners is waiting in California for a trade I mailed about that same timeframe.

Thanks for the post, Mike. I'm sure it's frustrating for everyone in the Baltimore area. Hopefully the cards I sent to you will move soon.
I know they are having problems in Central Indiana, too. A TCDB member sent me some cards from Texas to me with tracking that has been stuck in the regional distribution center in Indianapolis for several days now.
It takes patience to be a human right now!

Interesting. Guess that exaplains why one envelope took a month to get from MD to UT. I know that here they have had a lot of staffing issues due to Covid and had to bring in staff from Nevada and other surrounding states. Must be fun trying to deliver mail in a place you've never been before.

I used to live in Anne Arundel County and it was like playing the lottery, if it came through Baltimore regional it would take forever. If it came through Washington DC it was on time.
Trump once said that Baltimore was a rat-infested ****hole and he was not wrong. It is a cesspool of failure. They have in my opinion the best stadium in baseball and the best aquarium I have seen so far. But the crime, homelessness and open air drug use is off the chart and its spreading outward every year. I'm going to sell my home in the next two months for way more then what it is worth because of the current market. The poor bastard that buys it is going to regret it in 5 years because of the increase in crime and drug use in the suburbs.

I'm on the Eastern shore of Maryland and I am hoping that this is the reasoning behind two severely delayed trades that are supposed to be coming my way. Other end received theirs in a timely manner in both cases. Low value trades so not too overly concerned, but holding out hope!

I too get mail via Baltimore but have a slightly diiferent issue. This happened more than a few times; a trading partner and I can send out PWEs on the same day and those I send out usually arrive in a week or less. Those comimng to me, however, can take up to 3 to 3/12 weeks. This happened a month ago. We both sent on 20 Jan and he received his on the 24th while I received mine on 7 Feb. Go figure.
