I started selling again on Ebay after taking about a year off.  I had no problem receiving $s when they used PayPal.  Now I have several sales totalling over 2k that Ebay says they sent to my bank and my bank says they never got.  Ebay and my bank ssy that if the funds were sent to a different account they would bounce back because the names would not match.

Just curious if anyone has had any similiar problems.

They only released money in 2022 if you gave them your SSN so they could report it to IRS.    I was also wondering where my payout was too then I put 2+2 together and came up with IRS>

Yeah.  I went through that step.  Report SSN after sales exceed $600.  It's getting weird and expensive to sell there.  Again they say they sent funds and my bank says they haven't.  I'm gonna trust my bank on this one.

How much time has passed since they claim it was sent? 

You almost need a burner bank account now. Some crook will convince Ebay to refund his money and they are going to yank that money right out of your bank account a month later and leave you trying to figure out how to pay your rent or something.

Honestly if you are selling for eBay, Sportslots, instagram, etc. (I think you get the point). You need a seperate bank account. For tax reasons, seperate finances and for me I only keep a small percent to respend, some goes into a savings for future card related adventures/taxs, and the rest goes to my wife, the real boss.

Agree on the burner.  Ebay is trying to pull funds out of my account now to pay for sales I never got paid for.  Noticed before the ACH left my bank and put a hold on any attempt to withdraw.  It's just weird and crazy and of course can't get an ebay human who knows anything about anything on the phone.
