I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster. |

Not a terrible design for the card. Curious if that silver border is the base card color.

The silver border is not the base design. The base is white.

The only thing I don't like about this coming year's Topps' design is how the position of the player feels tacked on. To baseballcardstoreca's point, it does look like a less busy Bowman style card. My early consensus is giving it a 7.5/10.

Definitely true. Then again, that's a low bar to clear ... with apologies to those who love the 2021 Topps flagship design.
