I'll add a couple of things. Forgive me if any of this has been said; I skimmed the thread. I don't trade much here, but got a couple of offers lately and agreed. Both trades seem to have gone very smoothly. But please communicate (as has been said). In the first trade, I left a message with my acceptance, just to make sure the quality of the cards would be acceptable. I did not send my cards immediately, expecting a response. Then I got cards in the mail! I felt bad and immediately sent my cards, but answering the message would have been nice. And leave honest feedback. Those of us with way under a 100 trades need the feedback. The feedback I got was...inconsistent, saying that it was "Excellent trade, A+++++" but giving it a "neutral." That's fine. I just thought it odd. And, without reopening a whole can of worms, leave honest feedback -- neutral or even negative -- if it goes poorly. That's all I have to go on when deciding to trade with someone, which is always a bit of a leap of faith the first time. And, I've never had this happen, but it seems a best practice unless you really think you're getting ripped off -- but if your trader doesn't like the cards you sent, agree to fix the problem at your expense. Return his or her cards. Send more cards. Send money. Undo the deal. Just fix it, even if you don't think you were the problem. It's just not worth a battle, usually. It's not worth hits to your reputation and not worth the mental energy. Just fix it.
Oh, and update the trade status, especially when it's done. Because otherwise, the site messes up what you have in your collection.
I never got on this site to trade, but since I've had a little inventory and always update my collection, people have been reaching out a bit. And I couldn't be more pleased.
Anyway, happy collecting.
