Anyone else try one of these? I grabbed one at the LCS last week since it was "only" $30 and I'm very tired of Panini's life draining football monopoly. It's....interesting.

It's a buyback of 1994 Fleer Ultra John Elway card that they've glued a game used jersey patch to and encased in a sealed magnetic holder. They even have a part of their web page that's dedicated to the jersey each patch was taken from.
Thoughts? I'm definitely not buying another one, but I'm at least happy someone out there is trying something different.

To start it looks like a loin cloth not a jeresey (great location), and second I believe I saw that the process is getting a clear plastic piece and puting the swatch on that and then putting it over the card, leaving the card in its original condition.

My friend just showed me these. I can't begin to imagine how to catalog these. I think they look ok a twist on buyback.

Yes I bought a Pete Rose 1982 re-do with a game used "gauze pad"...errr pants.
Although it may not be the greatest swatch sample, what I do like is the more specific description of:
"Includes material from a pair of pants of 1981 pants worn by the player depicted on the accompanied original trading card."
I was wanting to include this in the database for my collection but that may not be happening right away, haha!

They do have a checklist on their website, but these are not going to scan well unless you take them out of the case.

Billy is correct, they are third-party modified after-market cards and are not listable here.
