Got unwanted and extra cards you would like to get rid of? I am starting a program to distribute free hot packs to every Good Will and other places across the country. Let's get more kids into collecting cards. This hobby has throughout the years pulled away from an affordable hobby for children. Let's change that. I am making up packets of extra football cards right now. Imagine some kid getting one of these packs with a Joe Burrow RC in it. Well that is about to happen here in my area of Virginia. Message me if interested.

I was told by a couple of Goodwill stores in the Houston TX area that they send all their cards to a central location and sell on the web. Doesn't make a lot of diference but i would rather give to childrens hospital or another kids organization. Not a bad idea but just wanted to share what i was told.

Wow I didn't know that. They may do that in big cities but our Goodwill stores are spread out by miles.I wouldn't want to make it easy for these people who buy up everything at Walmart to resell on Ebay. These people are the problem in the first place.

Yep. This is true.
Anything that people donate that is of value (E.G. newer video games, computers, tablets, cards, etc.) get sent to a central hub and are basically sold on an Ebay-like website.
Frankly, I'd try donating to Childrens' Hospitals or youth programs that take toy donations. They would be able to dole out the cards to children and get them into cards and card collecting.

Didn't think I'd get this far from building robots in the garage, but here we are now. Wish I could make a robot that could scan every image of my cards in here...

by the way.....shopgoodwill.com is cool to buy a random binder or box once in a while.
I have not bought from there for a few years, but I the shipping charges for a small box with 1 binder in it were reasonable to me last time I bought..

That site completely ignored my request for more information about what they accept and how they disperse them last year. So I'll never bother with them again. If they can't even take the time to reply to a simple email question or two, I'm not going to waste my time pulling and packaging cards to send to them. I wasn't going to send them crappy cards either. I was wanting to REALLY get kids interested in cards, but c4k balked on that.

I saw on Twitter the other day that someone was packaging up batches of cards into team bags and putting them into those Free Libraries that are around town. I thought that was a pretty decent idea.
