Need some help here please. I'm looking for how many copies were printed of a special card I have and I'm not having much luck. It's a LeBron James 2003-04 Hardcourt Clear Commemoratives LJ-A. He's wearing an Irish jersey on the front and the back shows the authentication of the signature by Upper Deck. The signature is in a clear window. I'm not looking to sell this card just yet but I just need to know exactly what I have first. Also, I have seen this card listed multiple times by several sellers, asking in the $27,000 to $30,000 range. Thoughts on that as well. any advice would be greatly appreciated. I trust that I have come to the right place. Have a great day.

That number 20 that it shows is not the number of cards printed. I believe that's the total number in this database history.

I haven't seen one personally, but it sounds very nice. As for the pricing, I see lots of items priced on eBay, but that doesn't necessarily mean much as they don't always sell. It does sound like you have a pretty desirable/awesome card. I personally wouldn't spend that much on the card, but some probably would spend an estimated guess of several thousand dollars. If it were graded, it could likely drive the price higher. The 20 you referred to is the number of individual cards within a full set. Apolpogies for not being super helpful, but congrats on a nice card.

Matt Kenseth card collection is nearing 50% with over 2300 different cards. Always looking for the missing remainders to get to 100% completion.

Thank you. I guess that there are more than a few very patient card owners not really motivated to sell. Problem is, I'm not seeing any in the few thousand dollar range. Are some cards so rare that the owners don't want to part with them ?

Now, i've seen a couple raw for between $27,000 and $30,000, and most graded 8-9 for the same. There's been about 6 listed for over $27,000 to one $2800 raw. That tells me that the people that have one, don't want to let it go so easily. People like having something different. Mine is graded 8.5 by MNT. They have a reputation of being tough. If people just refuse to seee that, I may have to crack it and get Beckett ot PSA. The buyer that does his or her homework on the grader, could end up with a good deal. We'll see.

Your cad being graded an 8.5 will increase your mount of return for the card. Some of the LeBron RC AU's I have seen sell online have been between $5,000-$20,000 depending on serial number/print run, grade, product, and desirability. The location of online sell also can alter what you receive as some reach a wider audience and others specifically target people with larger spending budgets. My theory is that it would come down to finding the right purchaser who is giving you enough money for what you feel the card is worth vs if they feel like it is a good deal.As for your question about people having rare cards and not wanting to let them go, there are some collectors who do this to see what unusual items they can acquire and others who look to make a few quick dollars by placing them on an online purchasing site at higher than expected prices, just to see what they can get offered for the card and hope someone actually pays their asking price. Either way, it would be a pretty desirable card for anyone collecting LeBron, so hopefully it works out well for you if you decide to part with it.
