First, thank you to Bruno, sandyrusty for motivating me to compile all of my trade statistics.  I went back through all of my recorded trades here on TCDB and added up all the cards that have come and gone over the last 7 years.  All of these stats are from the TCDB Transaction Manager.  I know I made several outside of this extremely useful and ever improving feature of TCDB, but these stats are just those from using the tool here.  The early days were fun as it was just a glorified messaging system different than the forum or messanging system and it gave the opportunity to write an offer and request a list of cards. You couldn't yet pick the individual cards back then and they didn't go to/from the collection/wantlist/trade list like they do now.  The Trade Matching feature on each member's profile page and the Trade Matching Report are some of the latest and best features on this site along with the ability to add all trade matches to each side of the trade at one time.  Thank you so much to the TCDB Admin for bringing this hobby back to life to now thousands of folks across the globe to trade and for all of the cool improvements.

My first completed trade here on TCDB using the Transacation Manager was 10/24/2014, Transaction ID#131.  It was the 8th completed trade here on TCDB and it was with cmalloyy.  We have only traded once since.

By comparison, TCDB had its 100,000th completed trade here on 10/18/2021 and the first trade was completed on 11/28/2013.  Yesterday (11/7/2021), TCDB had 27 completed Transactions with the most recent being #102,457.

My transaction stats:

Above shows the breakdown of the number of trades per year, the # of cards out and received and total each year, the largest trade in that year, who it was with and the member I traded with the most each year with the number of transactions completed with that person that year.

Again, I'd like to thank Admin and so many others for the suggestions and the improvements to the Transaction feature here on TCDB.  Thank you for reigniting the fun in this hobby for me.  Thank you for fulfilling so many sets that I never thought possible.  Here's to the next decade of TCDB, another 100k transations here on TCDB and the next 1000 transactions for me and so many others.

I look forward to finishing 1970-1973 Topps baseball and my Tigers team sets from 1951-1957 (only missing about 22 cards, but they're getting to the expensive ones).  I might do 1980, 1984-1989 Topps Football and maybe 1991 to 2015 Topps Football sets, but those are pretty low on my priority list for now.

Congratulations Dan and happy to have been a part of it even as recently as last month.  I think stats are all part of the sport card collecting. TCDb just gives one more area of stats to track.

That's pretty cool. You've inspired me to start where I left off on my own stat project (My 20th trade and many moons ago)

Nice work, Dan! I might have to try this with all my completed trades, too.

Did you just tabulate everything one trade at a time, or are there features in the Trade Manager that did some of the work for you?

I use an excel spreadsheet.  I had to add several trades to it when I first started but since then, I enter each trade once it is Accepted.  I also have a column that allows me to enter a 1 (or 2 if there are 2 combined trades in 1 package) and this column totalled up lets me know how many trades have been completed.  I start new columns at the beginning of each year adding the previous year's total to the present year.

In excel, you can use the columns for tracking all the different stats you want.  I did not go as far as Dan did in keeping track of how many states or provinces I have traded with nor who I have traded with the most (I can find that simply by doing a "Find" on the spreadsheet looking for some of those I know I have traded with frequently).  I also color code certain cells for PIF / sales / local trades, etc.  I do have a column that also tabulates how much I spend on postage (you may not want to realize this).
