Nice discussion item. I am exclusively a Puckett collector with approx. 1,300 different cards. Though I do have 150 + or - cards from the past 20 years, I am going to restrict any further gathering to only cards from 1984-1998. My wantlist for that era is pretty much down to about 200 cards. I will puruse only those, but realize that some will not likely be obtained. So, I am at the crossroads on how to organize this collection. I place them in collection binders in collectible pocketed pages. Oldest to newest, alphabetical by brand....exactly in the same order as the master checklist on TCDb. My crossroads dilemma....adhere strictly to this sequencing? If so, there will be many instances of cards sized 3x5 or larger panels or 8x10 or smaller stickers that will disrupt a nice flow. So, the consideration I am looking at......adhere to the strict TCDb sequencing but only for the standard sized 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" cards. And...all other "non-standard sized" cards will go in a separate binder (or more). I have purchased Ultra Pro Platinum collector pages with different sized pockets (1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 12, 15, 16), based upon the different sized cards that I hold, or yet pursue. These latter cards will be stored in the "non-standard binder" in the TCDb sequencing. Which leaves the standard sized cards in a very consistent 9 cards/page, good for viewing. In my case, I will likely put a placeholder description in the slots for the cards that I yet seek. I still haven't officially placed them all into their final resting spot yet, so still open to ideas and feedback. Good luck Drew.
