Hi --

I'm new here *waves*.  I could give you my trading card life story (which isn't long nor is it all that interesting and mostly revoles around X-Files 20 years ago and now a recent desire to sort and organize things which lead to a splurge of buying boxes of cards on Ebay (so I can, as I said, sort and organize!  I blame Covid.

But I digress.

In one of the boxes I bought I have found three cards that I cannot find any images for on line. Through research I believe them to be the three cards in the "SciFi Sensations" subset of the 1994 Boris 4 Magnificent Myths set. This site is one of only maybe two sites that mentions the existence of these cards but doesn't have any images of them for me to confirm that's what I have.

So, my question (at long last) is how do I confirm that these are, in fact the cards I have, and then how do I go about trying to figure out their worth? And what do I do if I come across other cards I can't find images of on line? How do I determine what they are?

Thank you for any insights!  I tried to attached an image of the cards that are specific to this question but couldn't seem to get that to work -- would be happy to send a photo of the cards.  But I also have a general question of what to do if i run across a similar situation in the future.  Cheers!

If you use the Card ID forum linked below, you can upload front and back images of anything you need identified. You won't be able to upload to the General Forum but you can link to images if they're hosted online somewhere.

In terms of pricing, all you can really do is search around and see what they're going for elsewhere. The pricing on this site is based on recent auctions and sales and isn't a true indicator of how much something is worth.

What bigEd said is good for a quick response here in general. Looking at the checklist here I checked the "collections" link for those cards. All 3 have 3 members listed 2 just have it on their wish/want lists, but one member authenac has those 3 cards listed as being in their collection. You could try reaching out to him to help verify. 

That insert set, not a "sub" set as they are not part of the base set, but an "extra" mini set seems to be numbered 1 to 3 with their individual titles. From what I noticed with this set is that the back should have the number and title of the card at the beginning of the descriptive paragraph. That is if our checklist is correct. For instance card 1 should have "1. Robot Stripper" (maybe in bold) at the top of the back paragraph.

 I have nothing to add with regard to using the site's features as these guys covered it quite well...but 1. Welcome and 2. Thanks for your response Kirk as "Robot Stripper" can be taken off my list of words I never thought paired together. Haha!
