How do you go about reporting an error on a card?
The Topps 1992-93 basketball series lists card No. 51 Terry Porter as attending Wisconsin. He actually attended Wisconsin - Stevens Point.

On the card's page on the left hand side there is a link "See any inaccuracies" Click that and fill out the form with as much information as possible

The IR has been handled. The report link on the specific card is different from the report link on the set itself.

Techinally speaking Stevens Point is part of the Univ of Wisconsin. It can very easily be a card company's choice to list it as just "Wisconsin".

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Except that the University of Wisconsin is a major NCAA Division I school.
Stevens Point is a NCAA Division III school.

The unversity has many campuses in many cities. Any card company can make the choice for whatever reason to list any of it's campuses as just "Wisconsin". It doesn't technically speaking make it an error. It's the card company's choice.
Should we put UER on all cards that list just "Wisconsin" since the main campus is acutally called "University of Wisconsin–Madison"?

There are a bunch of SUNY campuses as well, and if a card company simply decides to say "SUNY" instead of "SUNY - Buffalo" or SUNY - New Paltz" it's up to the card company and doesn't make it an uncorrected error.
Besides, what good does an UER really do for these cards? It's not like it changes value or the ability to sell or obtain one. I mean, to each their own, but I never understood the UER hunters.

I'm with Scoop on this one. I wouldn't list it as an error for UW-Madison because that's the main campus and is typically referred to as just "Wisconsin." Think about the University of California system. UC-Berkeley is often simply called "California" or "Cal". Someone who went to UCLA, however, would never say they went to the "University of California". Neither would alumni of UCSD or UC-Santa Cruz or... Alabama and UAB are different schools. So are the University of Texas (Austin) and UTSA (San Anronio).

Wisconsin-Stevens Point has their own athletic program (the Pointers). They aren't just an extension of the Badgers
