Thanks, I just tried that and it says "This member is currently not accepting transaction proposals".

He may have turned off the ability to receive messages as well.

He may be just taking a little time off. For what ever reason.
I have seen other members with "This member is currently not accepting transaction proposals".
I think that is a good ideal also not taking messages. That way you know he is shut down. You did not have to keep messaging him wondering why he has not replied. Plus he does not have to come back with a lot of messages and offers to go through.
Wish more members would do that as I have 6 offers and several messages not answered yet.

Yes, I still get many messages ignored by others who are supposedly trading. It tells me a lot about the individual's character when they are obviously active but could not take the time to respond to a message, even if it was just to say "not interested at this time".
In this case, if he is not accepting trades at this time, that should be sufficient to know to look elsewhere.

I always look at the last time they logged in. It is aggravating to see someone with a card I want who hasn't logged in in months (years), but it saves the time of composing a trade.

I have never traded with him, but we had many matches together and I visited his profile a few times. If my memory serves me right, Gwhy11 had some personal issues over the last months and he has turned his trades off.

I had messaged him a very very long time ago ( I think it's been a year now but I can't remember) and at the present moment he is not trading unitl this Covid thing gets better. It's unfortunate but hey everyone is to their own. I was hoping to trade with him on some 1966-67 Topps Hockey when this came about. That's all I know.

Gary's probably fine as he's added cards to his trade list. I made a deal with him recently and he stated he'd turned trading off as many of us do periodically.
