It was slabbed by Good Morning America at least....
Not sure how to report counterfeit items being sold on the site but I'm still looking.

I did report the seller to them but I would expect more from Michael Strahan.

There's been some active bidding on that thing too. I guess anything that's slabbed these days will get someone's attention

Not sure if it said this when you posted the link, but the item does say "(Reprint)" in the description. The blurry label also says "#111 Replica Reprint" on it.
If a guy wants to make money off people who don't read the descriptions, I don't think there's much stopping them. Or for all I know, that's what a nice fake is worth. Still way cheaper than a half decent real one, I would imagine. (Not that I want a fake card, personally).

It's an unauthorized reprint, a fake, a copyright violation and a crime. SportLots should not be offering it up, though they are probably taking the eBay approach. The fact it got slabbed is ridiculous enough, but GMA will take the money, no issues off their backs.
BTW, anyone notice the convienent SN# on the back?

I disagree with the subject title to this thread. In my mind anyone that can spend that much money on a card is not poor. Now he may be an idiot for what he's spending it on, but I have no qualms with that verbiage in the title.

Perhaps they are looking to obtain the card and hoodwink others for a potentially larger profit outside of sportlots? Its hard to say what the motives would be.
Also, no one should be touting GMA as a reasonable grading alternative. I've seen too many people suggesting GMA to other hobby newbies on forums like reddit/twitter/youtube (not a ton, but a handful is already too much). Any company that grades unauthorized fakes/reprints/etc is, at best, aiding and abetting swindlers in the hobby. GMA slabs are completely worthless unless you want to encapsulate PC cards with them (even then, not sure why you would do that).

I see these GMA graded reprints all over facebook marketplace for stupid amounts of money. It's so frustrating.

The card is now showing a current bid of zero and the bid history has been wiped.
When I looked yesterday there were at least 20 back and forth bids between two people

GMA won't even call them what they are...COUNTERFEITS. Love their use of every term but counterfeit, especially "alternative" trading cards...lol. What a joke of a company. They posted this to their Facebook page in May:
GMA Grading Suspends Grading and Encapsulation for Reprints and Custom Cards
As part of our ongoing effort to protect collectors in the marketplace and to preserve value for our customers, GMA Grading has decided to suspend grading and encapsulation for "custom" trading cards and reprints. As we are unable to guarantee provenance for many of these types of alternative trading cards and because many appear to use non-licensed images, logos, or likenesses, submissions of the aforementioned will be declined and returned ungraded.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.
