I thought it would be fun to start a thread where we can post links to some of the more outragous ebay auctions, either insane prices or just odd ball stuff.
I'll start with this one... a binder of about 1000 late 80s and early 90s cards with a starting price of $51,499
https://www.ebay.com/itm/184282445181?hash=item2ae816f57d:g:O6UAAOSwiGBes43m
At that price I think most of us here would be millioniars with our current collections.

Its a Best Offer, with no expectation of getting the BIN price.

Looks like he has stumbled across an auction with a price of $55k on the 90-91 Fleer Jordan for some reason so has chucked a similar BIN on his whole collection just to cover is rear end incase he has been sitting on a small gold mine.
Admittedly he does say he has tried to look at prices and can't make sense of them which is a fair enough comment and sort of explains why his pricing is obviously wildly optimistic.

$51 per card? For junk wax/unlicensed cards? I could be generous and offer him a penny a card...$10.
-------------------------------
Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

The real fun is in the local classifieds where they are trying to sell thier junk wax 90s for $1 a card and proclaim "No lowball offers" while they are all loose in a shoebox with some together in rubber bands.

Something I find odd is the 25 shipping (there was a Tua 1/1 at 53k and 80 shipping) I sent 17 cards to Germany from US at less than 5. Seems to me that cards over 10k should be hand delivered, but then again I'm sure I'll never have that issue.

I have a lot of binders full of 80/90s cards. I may be rich and not know it.

Reminds me of when the X-Box came out....
Outrageous prices on e-bay.....
Still my belief, M$ gave away more of them as prizes etc
than they actually sold....
