Anyone else notice the usual unannounced changes to the Ebay site. If I search under baseball, I only get three of the cards I am looking for. If I look under the more general "single sports cards" I get over 300 matches including other sports. I tried to list a card using a prior listing but they've added many changes and can no longer list it under the category of baseball. I guess we'll have to do the usual complaining to get it back to the way it was yesterday. Seems their UX people do not understand that their changes are not helpful to customers.

There was another forum regarding this.

Would this be related to what category the seller places it in? Some sellers dont take advantage of the more detailed categories. I see this with books all the time.

Thanks for the info. Looks like I have to go change listings and explains why bidding on my items has just about completely stopped. Thanks for the help, Ebay.

I would recommend closing all listings unless all are BIN. Not being able to search by sport will greatly hurt most auctions. I was just about to load several listings. Not intil this gets sorted out.

Yes, I stopped new listings until they get enough complaints and hopefully change back. The old adage "if it ain't broke, don't fix it", is unknown to people at Ebay.

From a buyer perspective, as I've been going through, it is taking extra steps to find things. When I'm in a storefront looking at listings I have to type "set" into the search bar to filter things instead of just using the sport and product filters.

Yes, it sucks. I was just checking for a sellers hockey breaks. He has over 900 listings of the different sports. I wasn't able to filter for just the hockey breaks.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Just tried to upload a few myself and it isn't worth the hassle. Keeps telling me handling time isn't listed when it is clearly listed at the bottom. Also doesn't pull up player names or card manufacturers as fast. Looks like I'll be taking a break from eBay as well until they change it back to "normal".
