So I haven't bought from COMC in along time and I know the market right now is crazy, but I bought four cards the other day on COMC and it says my cards will not be shipped until the end of August. Is this normal/expected? That is a four month wait?!?!

Totally normal for COMC and expect more delay.

You really have to wonder whether COMC is going to survive much longer. I liked using them in the past, and had expected to sell a bunch of cards through them in the future, but at this point, they just don't seem to be viable. Even COMC's ebay listings aren't much of a deal given the higher-than-normal shipping charges.

I'd be eternally grateful to anyone who can help me find a 1998 Bryan Braves (non-perforated) Kerry Ligtenberg and a 2000 Nabisco Albertson's Astros Chris Truby. Last missing items in a 10,000-card "set."

I was looking at a couple eBay listings from them last night, actually. I know that I live in the north, but I had thought that the shipping charges were absurd.

I'm not buying into the demise of their site yet, but I don't quite understand why its still a delay until August to get the cards. They made a big pat on the back post about how they hired more workers and opened a larger facility streamlining the process, and since then the processing time has remained the same, three weeks later. I would think if things are getting better for them, it shouldn't be that long. Until it gets a little faster I won't request a shipment, I don't expect a week, but I would think a month would be an acceptable timeframe. If its like this in the fall, I might just forget it and try to flip most of them and just ship a few expedited and cash out if I can.

I request a shipment on December 1. They gave me a ship date of March 5. The cards still have not shipped.

Jupiter, I have been hearing a lot about how their attention has turned mostly to the eBay side of things, and how they are forced to play by eBay's rules on third platform, and how the focus is no longer on their own site for the majority of their sales. I have no firsthand knowledge of this, but it is a theory that could make sense.

I think it's kind of dumb for them to be listing on yaBe IMHO when they have (had) plenty of traffic on their own site . And yes buying from COMC on yaBe is ridiculous because of the shipping.

Hope thats not the case on eBay mostly. Do not understand the delay in shipping unless it has somethings to the new facility and personnel. Hope it gets better.
