Anyone know if this exists here or have there been any talks about this feature? Would be a complete game changer for me to be able to save my collection to CSV with prices here and there. Still update and keep collection here but would like to run other stats and charts on my own program.

Based on previous discussions on the site I'm 99% sure this won't be a feature that will be considered. I'm not Admin, therefore less than 100% certain.

Wish we could do that. Only thing that keeps this site from being perfect in my eyes.

As I remember it being said in previous discussions, why would Admin allow his database to be exported?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

Exactly. Why would users do all this work to add checklists just for the data to be taken elsewhere?

The data is all here. Why do you need to export it?
Now if we could have the ability to run custom reports... That would be the game changer.

There are suggested enhancements to the site in the New Feature Tracker https://www.tcdb.com/FeatureTracker.cfm?MODE=VIEW&ID=322&PageIndex=1 which would allow dashboard elements for users to view their account data within the TCDB site without the need to export elsewhere. Move this up in your priority rankings so that this can be implemented.

For me it's not about exporting set data. This is the only way I catalog my collection and traders. God forbid if something ever happened to the guy running this site or he just decided he's done with it. Unfortunately I've had that happen to me where the vehicle I was using for inventory was destroyed by the Evil Goliath Beckett and then I had a major theft so my database was destroyed and I had to start from scratch here. Now that I'm finally done after 2 years and [/] cards later I'd prolly throw it all away before starting over.
With that being said I'm only looking to export what I own into a saveable report. It could be as simple as Year, Set, Card #, Name, QTY. for each set.
I can't be the only one who fears this site going away some day can I ??????

That's why I have my spreadsheets, you never know.... And it's not the site shutting down I'm worried about, could also be cateatrophic failure, security breach, etc. Plus comes in handy when I'm on the road and looking through eBay or SportLots listings.

I periodically download my lists using the site's tools just in case.
