Joel's **** show did that to me as well. I refuse to buy ANYTHING from him. I wouldn't care if he had the last printing plate of the 4 if I was collecting them. I refuse to give him any more of my money. I regret that fact that I actually have bought stuff from him in the past, but that was before he pulled his "hit" trick on me.

I wish there was a way to block sellers on COMC, becuase he would be my first one I'd block. I have found some of his cards actually cheaper than other sellers, but I usually just wait until the other sellers either lower their price or have a sale. I'm patient on the site, but he's one of the few I don't deal with. As for some of the pricing on the site, I agree some are crazy, but I think some sellers have raised their prices because COMC raised theirs so its not as cheap to send cards and sell. Plus the fact that COMC openly encourages flipping on the site. While I'm not for or against it (I have flipped a few cards because I either bought double, or because the prices were going crazy and I figured it would help replenish my funds), I find it odd how open they are about it.
I still find it odd how COMC talks on their Facebook, "WE SHIPPED THOUSANDS OF CARDS THIS WEEK" with a ton of outgoing packages shown and lauding how they are catching up and working 7 days a week to ship, yet the shipping times are still around the 115 day mark to get them. I would think if they are truly catching up that number would drop a bit every few days, I still think 30-60 isn't too unreasonable. I hope by the end of summer it will lower to a point I can request a shipment, if not I guess I'll use up what I have left, and wait patiently and possibly move on. At this point them holding my cards then requesting shipment and waiting 4 months for cards almost make it seems like digital cards I might never get to hold.

I posted my frustrations on 5/13 at 1pm. At 7pm that night I got an email from COMC saying "Your order is being packaged with an expected shipping date of 4/20/2021."
I thought--they must be monitoring this site & trying to appease the squeaky wheels.
But since that email--ZIP. Nothing. It is like they teased me. Lord knows when it'll actually ship.
Also, F**k that JoelShitShow guy. Changed the prices on me too.

I, too, got the notification that my items shipped. Looks like it was at least accepted at the USPS facility...

Is it normal to have a Purchase Email confirmation and a ship date, but no purchase history at COMC?

What's a good COMC alternative? I have used Beckett's Marketplace with generally okay results, but expect I can do better?
I'm sure eBay is best, but hoping for an aggregator where it's easier to compile a shopping list across multiple sets/years/etc.

Sportlots if you are looking for commons. They don't have the range of high end inserts/autos etc COMC has though.

I second SPORTSLOTS for filling fairly random fillers for collections. It's been great so far. Kinda pissed I found it AFTER I bought a bunch of stuff from COMC. Live and Learn!

Just the friendly word of warning, Sportlots is great, but each seller still has the cards in theor possession. Try to limit the number of sellers you buy from, else your shippingchanges could make the price per card actually be MUCH higher than anywhere else. It winds up being a game with me to figure out if it's cheaper at each of the various places. (But then again, I am a math geek.)
