Seems like we've seen this all before... high card market prices, topps going public (1987) and then later being taken back to private (2007).
So it would seem that, if history repeats itself, we are in the "1987" phase of the trading card market boom. When does that mean we should all liquidate our cards for maximum profit?
Side note #1: I'll be interested to see the additional information that Topps will need to start disclosing when they become a public company again.
Side note #2: I was "today years old" when I learned that Michael Esiner is the Chairman of Topps.
