Does anyone have info on the auto'd set? According to the official press release there was supposed to be auto cards inserted into packs from this set. It also said that the cards were sn in pen on the back, and that the autod cards wouldn't have downtown athletic club as the mfgr. Once upon a time (30 yrs ago) I remember seeing something about how the deal wasn't struck in time with the 3rd party, so the regular cards were autod by the trophy winners and not sn or published by 3rd party. I'm not seeing any indication of the auto cards in here and trying to find factual ibfo.

Each is numbered out of 200 on the back. 

Those appear to be exactly what I'm trying to find out, but my fuzzy memory reminds me that the entire set was spread out over 3 yrs.(series 2 in 1992 and series 3 in 1993) And there was an implication that College Classics printed the cards you referenced in 1992 to make up for the botched deal in 91. Just strikes me as odd there no reference at all to the autod cards in here, so I'm wondering if this is a set or promos.
