I recently bought a box of random cards that apparently been water damaged. Getting rid of the water damaged/creased/stuck together cards, I'm left with a bunch of "good" cards, but some are warped (no water damage and not creased but was a box-o-cards with little to no protection) To a certain degree a heavy book has rescued some of them, is there a better way? (lol I dont have that many heavy books) is trying to "save" them a fools errand?

*paid 7 bucks and got that back in commons/inserts bonus being a auto nolan Ryan that was fully protected! Yay me! Lol

Try storing them in a 300-count box and make each half of the lot face in opposite directions. You have to really squeeze them in, and then give it time.

Another suggestion is to pack them just as tight, but use a brick of straight cards (1991 Upper Deck) on each end to help force them back to shape.

Leave them in a toploader for a year or two. 

Wow, that was quick! I wish my 1985 Topps were as malleable.
