Was at Target today, went over to see the usually bare trading card shelves- and found 3 rack packs of Topps Series 1.  No Hoops unfortunately.  I figured I would be much more likely to eventually run into baseball than basketball.  

I did purchase all 3.  I normally only like to buy 1 rack pack at a time, and I kind of feel bad not leaving the other two for someone else.  But I’m sure I won’t see cards again for a long time, and more than likely the usual suspects would be the ones to grab them and flip them anyways.  The sign limit also happened to say 3. 

When we were checking out, I noticed they were 5.99, a dollar more than usual. I guess an extra 3 bucks total is not so bad considering.  

I am surprised no one followed me to the parking lot.  

I had some good luck at Target the other day too. I picked up three Hoops 30ct packs. 

I also had some luck at a local Target today, was there in a whim..the local Walmart was totally emptied out though.

I wouldn't feel bad about not leaving any for others. They wouldn't feel bad not leaving any for you. 

Just reading the responses, I would venture to say that Saturday is the day to look for cards at Target?  I take a look at the cards when I visit Target during the week, but it's always wiped out of everything.  

i managed to find some 2021 Donruss Nascar @ Walmart.

I found 4 boxes of 2020 Topps Chrome Update and a ton of 2021 Topps at Target yesterday. First time in many months.

I can't seem to find any 2021 Topps at either Target or Walmart 

and I'm definitely not paying how much topps is asking for a hobby box

Topps asking price was still less than what i paid for a hobby box from my online 3rd party seller.

Do we have a general idea of how Target and/or Walmart generally stock cards? I was tipped off that most of the stocking at one of my local Targets is staggered between Wednesday/Thursday when the respective set is released. Are we thinking they also do it other days or it's mostly randomized?
