Bonds possibly never getting into HOF doesn't seem to be keeping bidders away.
1986 Topps Traded Tiffany PSA 10
For what it's worth this card has a population of 441, a bit more than I was expecting considering the price it commands.
Has your stance on letting PED users into the hall softened at all over the years? Interested in hearing what TCDB has to say

Next year's ballot will also be the last for writer's to decide on Schilling, Clemens, and Sosa.
Collectors might just pick up their cards because they enjoyed watching those players (I was like that with Clemens, and still collect his cards). I'm still a bit sour over his 'mis-remembering' testimony, but also couldn't stand the way Congress paraded those accused out as if they felt the players were guilty.
Clemens has HOF numbers and accolades. You could say he attempted to get better than opponents by cheating, but those batters he faced may have done the same. Or you could think there is no way those substances (if he did take them) made him pitch any better.
Uhhhh, I'm still torn.

I feel like the voters have to understand that the PED time frame is an era just like the pre-black athletes era. If we are voting in players from then, then I say we vote in bonds.

100% correct but Manfred (or the next Commissioner) would have to "un-ban" them first

A: Bonds can always get in with the stupid veterans committee down the road.
B: Rose and Jackson should NOT get in. Ever.

I believe that Clemens and Bonds should be voted in. They have the career numbers to back them up, even though it was during the Roids Era, they were products of the situation. Can't make something illegal after the fact and slap their hands for it if there was no testing being done at the time. Rose and Jackson deserve to be in for their careers also, however what they did was bet against their teams, which in the long run eventually hurt their respective teams. This is more harmful to appearance then taking steroids to enhance your performance, because you take the steroids to improve your team, instead of betting that your team will lose. In Rose's case, he was betting while he was a manager, which is worse in my book, because he was able to control the outcome of the game. Jackson in opinion was innocent of the scandal due to the excellent numbers he had in the 1919 World Series, but the stigma of being on the Black Sox team has followed to his detriment.
