On COMC, does anyone have any experience with making offers to DallasCardboys? Most of their listings seem to be priced at or above top dollar. Some of the items are worth it to me, others aren't. I'd like to make an offer to them on everything I'm interested in, but I would have to add a lot of store credit in order to do so. I don't want to put that much money in my COMC account just to find out that they don't consider offers.
On a related note, has anyone gotten a Store Credit refund on COMC? They say you can get a 100% refund within 30 days, but I've never tried it. If you have, can you tell me; was it much trouble or fairly painless?
Thanks for any insight you can provide.

Haven't dealt with them in almost 7 years. I can't vouch for or against them. Sorry for the non-information. Wanted you to know that I did check to see if any recent offers to them led to any shenanigans (like make offer, offer rejected, prices raised - had that happen again recently with another seller on there). From what I did see, all of my offers to them 7 years ago were accepted.
I will say this, it does seem that most sellers will be more willing to accept lower offers when more cards are involved in the offer there. Again, not sure about DCB.

Hi Tom,
I've recently purchased a couple of cards from DallasCardboys on COMC. I did make an offer on both cards at different times and both offers were accepted by DallasCardboys. Hope this helps.
Thanks,
Rick

I've had offers accepted from them in the past. They manage to have some of the most hard-to-find and obscure releases. I've purchased stuff for my PC from them that I have never seen anywhere else before or since.

Are DallasCardboys somehow tied in with Beckett? I thought I read that someplace. I've made fair offers that they've accepted (no lowball stuff). The cards I've received have generally been in very nice condition.

I would also like to know if anyone has dealt with getting a refund on store credit. I loaded up to get a card the other day and someone must have bought it right before I tried to and then I was stuck with the store credit. I just ended up buying some other stuff but would like to know for the future. I thought I saw they charge a fee to refund it.

Thanks for the input everyone!
I seem to remember hearing that DCB are associated with Beckett, possibly even members of Dr. Becket's family. I have no facts to support that assertion, but it sounds plausible since they are both from Dallas.
I have bought from them in the past as well, but most of the items I got from them were high priority for me at the time, so I can't remember if I even made an offer or if I paid the asking price. I don't see anywhere on the COMC dashboard that tells me if a purchased card was bought at full price or with an offer.
It might be time to bite the bullet. They a few things I've been looking for for a while, and a couple that I didn't even know existed.
Thanks again!

From the COMC Store Credt page:
"Cash-Out Fee and Refunds
Store Credit is subject to a 10% Cash-Out Fee. Any portion of purchased Store Credit can be refunded in full within 30 days of purchase."
The cash-out fee definitely applies to money recieved for cards sold on the site, but it looks like 'deposits' can be refunded within a month at no penalty. I just haven't put it to the test.
