Its funny my wife found out on Monday about it. They are getting all post offices that get fed by them to get tested and all drivers who come and go from the center. Lots of fun

I saw where the Premier of Ontario, Doug Ford, made a plea to Pfizer to send more of the vaccine. Not happy he is with them.

On the Toronto news today they reported "truckloads of letters and parcels just sitting there with nobody to process them." I've been waiting for an Amazon package that was shipped via Prime Express from Texas on Janauary 12, but has been sitting in the Mississauga facility since January 15. Now it seems they're moving some parcels finally. Today the tracking was updated to show that it was sent from Mississauga to Stony Creek, Ontario, this morning and left Stony Creek this afternoon. Supposed to make the 1.5-hour drive from there to my area by January 28.

Bashing the postal service seems to be in vogue these days, so time for some well-deserved kudos: Today I received two Fates Warning CDs that I just ordered from Germany last Thursday (January 21st). I was shocked to see them appear so quickly. Yesterday I received a package from Amazon that I had just ordered on Saturday but that was a simple domestic delivery. This one crossed a whole ocean and cleared customs in just three business days!

Actually most of Canada. There are only three international points of entry in the Canadian postal system (Mississauga, Montreal and Vancouver). U.S. ones are New York, Miami, Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles and San Francisco. It means that all cross-border mail goes through a pair of these cities. I live closer to Montreal than Toronto. If the USPS route an incoming letter to New York, it will generally arrive in Montreal, but if they forward it to Chicago, it will generally be processed in Mississauga, then Montreal. Also, it is not supposed to stop over Mississauga, but I am waiting mail from Western Canada that is sitting somewhere since mid-December. If one can ship lettermail (first class envelopes), chances to be delivered on time (or close to) are better. Delays are worst for parcels (including thick bubble envelopes).

wow, big deal, with a 98.9% survival rate. Its chicken little syndrome. Did you not hear The news? That the cdc has omitted it lied and only 6% of the death are from cv. Or the one company has decided to stop making the vaccine because it's safer to just let it run its course than to get the shot. Biden also announced his plan for the cv is to just let it run its cores. Or people with blood type O the most common blood type get over it and most don't even know they had it. Or the tests are only around 30% accurate. I did laugh when a watched the french guy in their house of parliament opens a can of coke poured it in a bowl and did a test on it and it came up positive. Now France businesses are open. These are all facts that are out there but you won't hear them on the fake news. These are just a few, there are a lot more out there. The sky is not falling. It's just another bad flu session. The con is over people get on with your lives.

While I appreciate your passion...a) this is about how the current conditions affect shipping to Canada. b) I'm impressed the French elected such an esteemed scientist. C) I've heard lots of ridiculousness from uninformed politicians that I laughed at too d) be kind to everyone, if that means wearing a mask, big deal, do it for the 1.1% that its so easy to forget and the unknown percentage carrying long term effects. Out.
Oh and 46.3 % of all stats are made up on the spot.
