I searched old threads for this and found a bunch of good storage tips but did not find this one. How do you store mulitple 5000 count boxes? I have been stacking them on top of each other but that is nightmare to get cards the bottom one for a trade pull. I am also concerned about stacking too many on top of each other due to weight. I think it would ideal to have a system where they each have their own shelf and the weight is not on everything below. It would seem cool if I was able to pull the shelf out but have not seen that and think that a shelf that could handle the weight of a full 5000 count fully extended may be difficult to build.

Not the best alternative but better than a huge stack. I have a 4 or 5 tier shelf I bought from Menards that I put them on where at worst I only have a box or two on top of them. I have been thinking of making my own shelf made of plywood or usb shelves and then screwing 4X4 blocks at each corner that are tall enough to provide the spacing I want between each box but I haven't done that yet.

One option, a custom tool cabinet. You can choose drawer heights and widths, and cabinet height. Place the monster boxes right in the drawers with or without the tops.

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

This looks completely awesome. I did not see any pricing on the site and my only fear is that my storage solution will be worth 2 or 3 times as much as what I am storing

I am going to try an old microwave stand this weekend. I measured it and should be able to put 4 500 count boxes on it.

I used to have a dozen or so that cost 30$cdn each at WM and they were made of solid plastic, but they were a tight fit for 5000 cts' but not all 5k counts are made the same, so 2 per shelf 5 levels very solid and cost efficient, unfortunately being a renter and having a fireman for my landlord he deemed them fire hazards along with the cards , now i went for the metal 120$ per that can be seen in the video very solid 200 lb capacity per shelf and i'm sure you can do a 2 in 1 build modification to get more shelves per single stack height. Ideally and knowing i'm not getting younger the better for me eventuality not just for the inventory purposes is going to be getting everything into 800-1000 ct boxes as there may come a day when the only time i will want to lift a 5k count is when i'm buying them up and loading them into the car. Either way somehow i think if things don't change we may all be screwed just on the price of these boxes alone last bundle of 5k counts i purchased just after that famous March 2020 it cost me 119$ + tx cdn now i see them at 200$ plus and then some at 10$ each. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dEIn6mkvMf0

I have a beautiful, solid oak cabinet custom built to accommodate 20 5,000-count storage boxes (2 boxes per drawer side by side), with heavy-duty soft-close drawer slides, velvet lining on the bottoms of the drawers, and card-catalog-style drawer pulls with slots for printed labels...............................all sketched out on a piece of paper.
Now all I have to do is build it. :-)
Kidding aside, I used to have the card "houses" with 12 slots for 800ct lidded boxes. But, I wanted to upgrade the look, and cut down on the volume of cardboard in my closet, which my wife felt was retaining odor. So I got a (Better Homes & Gardens brand) "cube" shelf that is made to hold 4 12x12 storage bins. Similar to this: https://www.google.com/aclk?sa=l&ai=DChcSEwjovdqgq6vuAhUBhIYKHcgaAVkYABAFGgJ2dQ&sig=AOD64_3diNkGTZ0-ds5xX_Oje99J-6ZBaw&ctype=5&q=&ved=2ahUKEwiTr9Kgq6vuAhXyqFkKHdllCFYQ9aACegQIBRBE&adurl=
12 of those boxes (4 high, 3 across) fit perfectly in each opening, so I was able to discard the cardboard houses and keep the boxes. It's a little less convenient for pulling the boxes in/out, but it's nice look. I'm happy with it.

What size boxes are you using in that mwccards? Still the 800 count?

Yeah, and what's nice is they work depth-wise, too. If the boxes are pulled forward to the edge of shelf, they don't stick out the back. That makes for a nice neat look.
