This is awesome. I've wanted to do TTM autos for a while but I'm still stuck on what to write so I don't come off looking like an idiot. Richie Scheinblum is my #1 priority and I know he has a high success rate.
Nice video! Me and Mrs Gunny have been looking into doing some video stuff as well. She says I should concentrate on cards whilst she does landscapes, we'll see.
subscribed, I too enjoyed your video was a-ok. I too am on YT as oilerfreak. I mainly do hockey and candian teams but I have some of everything. I also just post "stuff" as I have made a promise to myself to do so.
Very nice! I've been doing TTM auto collecting for almost 20 years now, and I admit that it's pretty cool when something shows up in your mailbox. I make custom index cards with the players name, team logo, and a picture, but some players will also send back cards of their own. Like others have said, it depends on who you send to, but there are a lot of former athletes who are more than willing to sign. I've gotten some returns in few days and others that I forget about and they come back a few years after I sent them out (those always make me chuckle). It's a pretty cheap way to build a collection, and once in a while gives me something in my mailbox other than a bill. :)
Thank you everyone for your kind words. I can't wait to upload the next one. If you're a subscriber, you'll always know when a new one is available to watch.
Thanks for sharing!
I've never tried TTM but at a card show (several years ago) purchased a handful of Royals players from a person who claimed to have been doing it for years.
I watched the video and have to ask, the 3 signed baseballs. Whose autographs are on them?
