In July, I made 2 trades with corozco of CA. He received mine in normal time but though he mailed his 2 PWE on July 6, 2020, they never arrived in my mailbox. I know it really bothered him that I had not gotten the cards - at one point, he even offered to send me replacement cards. I declined his offer telling him that I trusted he had mailed his cards to me and that they were simply stuck in a USPS warehouse and that one day, they would move once more towards their final destination. We left it at that though I know it still bothered him as recently he updated the status of both trades to "Unfinished".
Well today, I picked up the mail and right away I knew the trade could now be closed. Two PWE awaited me (and a Xmas card from another member mailed 19 Dec). I don't have many trades on the go so the PWE could only be that long-awaited arrival of corozco's cards.
During this trying time, I have seen posts from others asking about deliveries if they did not get their cards from a trade in less than 3 weeks. I often commented that patience is required by all. I have just been proven right - Thanks Carlos!!!

Living in New Zealand has certainly taught me patience is the key these days with mail. Five or six month wait times hav been not uncommon so I know the feeling when that long-awaited package/envelope finally arrives!
Cool!! you got them. But your blaming the wrong postal severs. It's the Canada post that is having the problems. The last years has shown me this to be true.

What is that behind you!?! Oh, It's me! Looking at the cards you have, That I want. :)
It's great that the cards finally arrived, but that is a lonnnngggg wait for some cards.
USPS loses stuff too. I'm STILL waiting for my TCDB shirt to arrive that was shipped over 3 years ago! TCDB did refund my money after a couple of months without any movement on the package and they filed a claim with USPS. We both got our money back, but I'm still hoping the shirt shows up one day.

No PWE trades!

Nope. My experieince is that once it crosses the border, Canada Post does a pretty good job of getting it to the destination (other than Xmas as they were overwhelmed). The problem is Stateside and it was well documented the large baskets of mail in warehouses not being sorted because USPS was ravaged by the virus.

I can relate. I have a redemtion card from Panini that they shipped out to me on September 1st by Fedex. It made it to Nashville, TN from Texas by September 5th, then just stopped moving (Nashville is the closest Fedex distribution facility to my location, though there is one more scan point before it is out for delivery). I contacted Fedex about the issue after a couple weeks of no movemnt and they said to wait a little longer. So I waited until the end of the month, contacted them again and was told that it had been in-transit too long and they couldn't move the package until they received a claim from the shipper. I emailed and called Panini on multiple occasions, but never received a response. About a week ago, the tracking number was closed on the package though it never left Nashville on it's way here. I am hopeful it eventually shows up, but it is looking unlikely at this point.

How do you explain the one last week, Pennsylvania to Wisconsin?

Maybe it's not that I don't like cards anymore. I think my frustration/boredom with the hobby is because I don't like sports anymore.
