I have mentioned before that I am a rural mail carrier. I was talking to a supervisor, who told me, that at one point during this holiday season at a main distribution point in our state "that 42 semi trucks with trailers of packages, were waiting to unload parcels and mail there. That as each truck was emptied, another pulled in. They had never seen anything like it." I have been experiencing delays on all my card shipments, both incoming and outgoing. At work, I have also seen some very delayed date stamped letter mail come through. While we recieved very little in flat mail (magazines, catalogs) during the holiday season, we are suddenly seeing large volumes of that now.
I have worked there for 30+ years, and while NOT wanting to get political.....I had never seen anything this bad, until the new postmaster general was installed by the current administration.
