For anyone who's interested in the roundabout way things are going right now, below is the tracking for one of my SportLots orders (11 cards) going to my Box. Supposed to go from PA to Green Bay. As can bee seen it's taken over a month and has literally traveled in a circle. Not even stressing it consdering the PO has bigger things to worry about right now.

I had one package do this: 

Pennsylvania-> Mississippi-> Tennessee-> Pennsylvania-> Mississippi-> Tennessee-> Mississippi 

Sometimes I think the machine or whoever sorts it gets the to/from address mixed up. But seriously, 100% dysfunctional. 

I mailed my auto insurance payment to TX before Christmas and they still haven't received it. I mailed my cell phone bill yesterday priority. I hope it gets to NJ in fairly decent time. Overall I have four outstanding payments and two of them are local and they were mailed out the day after Christmas. I keep checking my bank account to see if they have cleared and so far none of them. I keep hoping they will show up so I don't have to put a stop on them. Fingers crossed.

Maybe they wouldn't be so backed up if everything didnt get sent to the wrong state?  In jimetal's example, if that package had NOT gone from St Paul (in a state that borders the final destination) all the way back to Lehigh Valley (1/3 of the way across the country, back to the state of origin), then Lehigh Valley would have had one less package to deal with.  Was everything in that truck also meant for Wisconsin?  Did Lehigh Vally get stuck with an entire truck full of mail that they should have never seen?  No wonder they are overworked.

Priority mail is just as backed up. I have multiple packages that have barely moved this past week. Your best bet would be to pay your bills online.

The banks are making lots of money on cancel check fees lately!

1st class mail recieved 1/8/21 her in Clover, SC sent and postmarked 12/15/20 from Columbia, MO. Hope the PO gets healthy soon!

Two bubble mailers made it to my PO Box today - one shipped on 12/30, and the other on 1/4.

A bubble mailer I sent out on Monday (1/4) arrived yesterday.

Things are looking up.

Thankfully, Most of the Ebayers have been incredibly understanding and patient and their communication has been very upbeat.   Many letters postmarked 12/7-12/17 are starting to arrive.  

I wish I could say the same for my bill payments.  On 1/6, I had three payments posted from 12/5, 12/10, and 12/11.  I had to call all three companies and they removed the late fees, etc.  BUT BUT BUT, I had one credit card company refuse any and all relief, declined two transactions, and would only unfreeze the card if I paid online, all pending charges, all late fees, everything due at the time of call.  

Needless to say, after a bit of dialogue, everything was paid, cashback dollars are in the mail (ironically!),  I chose to CANCEL the credit card.   Having a credit score of 848 and having used the card since 1987(!),  Poof! it's gone....Obviously, not the most important thing going on in the world today, but still depressing.. (very heavy sigh)

The only bill I mail in is my car payment. Oddly, they have gotten every single one by or on the due date even if I only mailed it 3 days before it was due. It's only going from NC to KY, but distance doesn't seem to matter in some parts of the country.
