Did you not read my reply?

Someday my cards may double in value and then be worth half of what I paid for them.

over the years I have picked up some Enor Progard 9 pocket pages. the pages seem slightly lower in quality, but the pockets seem slightly larger than Ultra Pro.
sleeved cards fit in with slightly more ease, and without the need for snug fit sleeve. Don't know if they are still in business.
I use these pages to sleeve and binder my PC relic cards

I saw the amazon pages.. they were a bit offputting at first. I don't like the amazon basics logo.. but they seem to be wide enough and the rating is decent so I'll give them a try.

After having my NASCAR collection the shelf for 10+ years...
I suggest Penny Sleeves at least for the top row, even if you
lay the folders on their back.....
Put the cards with sleeve opening down also....
Got lots of dirty edges on cards in the top row....

Newbie question: Is the point of putting penny sleeves on cards in binders to make sure they don't slip out? Bolo_Mk_LX's recommendation makes me think so, but I just wanted to check. I stand my binders up so I haven't had much slipping issues. May have to re-read this thread in case the penny sleeving seems like a vital addition.

That's one good reason. My reason for doing it was I started re-arranging cards on the pages and didn't like how it sounded like the pages were scratching the surface of the cards, they have a gritty feel to the hard plastic. The other was by having a sleeve on it I can handle them as much as I want without covering them in fingerprints. They are especially apparent on the topps chrome-style cards.
I already bought a box of those Amazon ones, lots of complains on the reviews they are actually too loose for cards, I can see why at 2-7/8ths but we-ll see. Maybe some extra wide sleeves will solve it.

I use the Ultra Pro premium sleeves in Ultra Pro platinum 9 pocket binder pages and they fit perfectly.

I'm using both of those as well.. they fit fine but the plastic of the sleeve bunches. I re-measured to see if maybe mine were old enough the sizes weren't the same but both the card sleeve and internal page space were an identical 2-5/8th's, so exact as advertised. Since they are the same size the sleeve bunches slightly. I think if the internal page width was 1/16th bigger it wouldn't cause any problems.

I have some Amazon Basics 9-card sleeves. They are looser fitting than the Ultra Pro are, and allow for penny sleeves on each card without bad bunching. I've been using TitanShield sleeves on the sets that I'm trying to collect and keep long-term. They are designed for gaming, so are a nice, snug fit intended for high touch without damaging the cards. They are more expensive than the Ultra Pro penny sleeves, but if you want to double up the cards for protection, the TitanShield plus Amazon Basics option really works very very well.

Ugh, I hated seeing the penny sleever/nine pocket combination in a dealer's binder at card shows ... a real pain in the neck to remove a card from a binder for examination. Of course, that was about a thousand years ago ... per the earlier responses, it looks like there are improved storage options now.
