I just recently pulled a drew lock auto jersey card # to 99. Its been 4 months now it is giving me the option to replace it with something comparable. This is my first redemption, any thoughts on what I should do?

I don't really have any advice on whether or not you should replace it. I have been waiting for a Michael Thomas Silhoullette since December 2016. All I have been offered is garbage. I'm to the point that I might as well wait. I wish there was a class action suit that I could join because I think that the company is committing grand larceny and I am a victim. Good luck with your decision.

This redemption is with Panini. So they do present you with options for a replacement rather than just sending you just anything they deem on the same level as what you are redeeming?

If it is a card you want, then just wait. Waiting 4 months is nothing. I waited 2 years for a card.

i waited almost 2yrs for a redemption on one card and about 18 months on another before i gave in. You can provide them a few teams/players you would like to get as a replacement, but don't count on it. i didn't get nothing close to what i wanted. its a crap-shoot to what you might get in return. on the one redemption, i had no choice, UD contacted me and pretty said the player isn't signing auto's anymore for them

Ill be honest, i only collect John Elway. I was just going to sell this card on Ebay and turn around and buy Elway cards with the profit. They also offered me panini points.... not sure the value in those.

Much better than the junk I got from the Fleer bankruptcy for the short print 2004 Fleer Greats redemptions I submitted.

panini points allow you get whatever products or cards you can get with them. some people put the Point cards to bid on ebay. if you had that redemption for a while, it may not sell well. best to either wait it out or turn in for another card and then just sell that one when rcvd

The points vary in price, usually increasing when Panini releases special packs/cards only available with points. But, you can ask them to just replace it with something from Elway. That way it works out for everyone.

I waited two years for a player to give Panini back his sticker signatures. He never did. They asked my favorite team. I ended up with a nice George Hill auto card SN99 that I like more than i would have liked the non-Pacer player on the Redemption. If they hadn't given the favorite team option, I might have kept waiting.

I'm going to reevaluate how I collect after the new year. It's just getting way too expensive for the new stuff. Sometimes I just want to buy a pack, not a whole box or even blaster.
