I only ever got one rip card before. It was in Upper Deck Thor Ragnarok. Mine wasn't serial numbered, at least I don't think it was. Anyways, I ripped and got an autographed mini card from some comic writer I never heard of before. Ultimately it is up to you, I would do a bit of research to see what goodies the rip card may contain then decide.

Unless you're a Soto collector, I would rip it. Just a personal opinion, though.

If it helps you decide as a Larkin collector I am perfectly fine with a ripped one in my collection. I know otherwise it will cost me more and since theres only 99 in your situation it is still a rare card that is ripped. I'm sure others here will probably say they will only buy the unripped, but I would be interested to hear others points of view.
I guess I look at it like the RedMan or Kahns cards in that if I can find one with the tab I'll get it, but if the first one I can afford doesn't have the tab, it goes in the collection and I don't try to upgrade.

saw a # to 75 rip card pulled from A&G the other day. Curiosity wants to see what's inside, but limited to 75 is rare on it's own...what if what's inside isn't related to the player on the front? would that be a dissappoint?

I feel so old. What's a RIP card?

Kaline a Rip card is a card with a smaller card inside it. To find out what smaller card you have you must rip the larger card....thus damaging it.
