I have already sold 16 cards today on COMC. By far the most I have sold in one day.
- 12 Soccer cards
- 2 Football
- 1 Basketball
- 1 Baseball
And my sales for the month are already over $300. Is this due to increased amount of speculation? Perhaps, it could be due to people having more time on their hands and working from home more often. Either way I am overjoyed.

Trying to acquire one card for every for every set, insert, parralle, minor, euro, team issue, oddball etc sets produced for Hockey. Been an interesting project.

Just the way the hobby is. Heck, let's use soccer as an example. The Donruss sets that were released in 15/16 and 16/17 are a prime one. Until Xmas the major retailers (Steel City, D&A, etc.) couldn't move them even when discounted. You could easily buy a box for under $30. Last I looked, probably early July, they were asking over $300 for what was left. Almost all the other cheap boxes, what I was actually looking for, were either gone or also marked up 10x. eBay sellers are trying the same thing, probably as the card shows went away. Yes, I have a few cards left to finish my 70-73 Topps runs, sorry, not going to get gouged. I'll wait for the shows to return. BTW, anyone have a NM 73 Schmidt or 71 Clemente they don't want....

Apparently a few leading voices in buying/selling cards in other sports shined a spotlight on soccer and now it's gone completely crazy. I PC Christian Pulisic and have one of the nicest collections for him in the world, but his cards have shot up insanely high. In some cases 10x or more than what those same cards were selling for a couple months ago.
Collecting Weston McKennie and Tyler Adams has gotten more expensive too. And Giovanni Reyna's first Chrome cards are going for $6K or more for a SN10. Haaland, Sancho, Greenwood, Mbappe....all the young player cards are skyrocketing in price.

Are the older Pro Set Soccer cards selling too? or are they not what is being sought?

Which sucks. I was hoping soccer would get overlooked. I was hoping to snag some of the older Select, Stadium Club, Prizm or UEFA boxes and finally work on some of those sets. Seeing that those have been discounted heavily before I figured it was time. Joke's on me

I have had decent luck with Pro Set. Especially the Pro Set French hockey and English League Football (soccer). Not so much with NFL stuff.
