Anyone have any tips or tricks for removing glue and or stickers off of brand new top loaders? Not worried about the standard ones but the thicker more expensive ones. I just got three perfectly brand new thick top loaders in the mail with the guys website sticker used to hold the card in there. Now they're unusable. Is there a solution or something that will remove this stuff? There has to be right??? So any tips?

I have used Goo Gone with a cloth rag, seemed to work pretty good to remove price tag stickers from top loaders.

Will have to try to remember that...Goo Gone. I hate seeing sotch tape and / or paper stickers that don't peel off easily on top loaders. Another waste in a disposable society.

Hmm, I've done a couple trades and put a small piece of masking or painters tape over the opening to make sure the cards don't wiggle out during transit. Is there a more preferred method that I've missed?

somewhat related, but does Goo Gone have a shelf life? I think I have a bottle from the mid-2000's if not earlier. I'm sure its been opened, but its hardly been used. I also need to find it, if it survived a move a few years ago.

Painter's tape does not leave anything on the top loader when removed. Scotch tape (the clear plastic one) does. Masking tape is more likely to than painter's tape. As well, the card may also get stuck to it and could damage it.
