Hey all,

Just wondering what other sites you all use for purchasing besides Ebay, sportslots and amazon.....

Feel like i am getting tapped out of sportslots allthough i do well there with some finds.  Only a couple of bad experiences.

Specifically non sports cards like star wars or Marvel/DC.... Just wondering if anyone had any other suggestions for those and just in general....

Beckett Marketplace for me too, but just be aware everything is minimum 50 cents ... even cards worth a penny. I would also recommend finding a dealer that offers free shipping with orders of $15 or $25 or else you'll be charged about $6 S&H on 10 cards

Despite the name, Huskerhavs Wrestling Cards has a decent selection of non-sport cards too. I've had only good results buying from him in the past.

You didn't mention COMC (and its current slow shipping) and baseballcardstore.ca.

I think that most major sites are now listed. There's also stores such as Dean's Cards, Dave & Adams and Steel City Collectibles, but most of them are not really selling singles. Another site I know is Kronozio, but the inventory is quite limited and price + s&h are on the high end. Otherwise, you also have auctions houses that sell high-end cards and collections and all the smaller sites that are often dedicated to one niche, such as O-Pee-Chee products or cards from a specific team.

COMC is really a pain for Non-sports cards. They don't give much in the way of searching, if you are looking for something you either need to know the exact name (as they list it, which is not always correct) or scroll through literally thousands of pages of everything mixed together. 

It makes it next to impossible to randomly stumble across something you've never seen before, which is one of the most fun things to do with non-sports cards. 

I usually get frustrated and give up rather than find things and buy them. They have said they were working on refining the search, but I suspect they have no intention of doing that and just wanted me to shut up. They already have the format in place, since they have it clickable by subject and team with sports cards...instead of a team, they could input "Automotive", "Comics", "Star Wars" etc. but they choose not to.

If any of you want to @ them on Twitter maybe it would make them actually care. They did respond to me, but I think, like I say, it was mostly to get me to stop talking about it.

Kronozio.com is a good one.  It's worth checking out ecrater.com, as well.  I used to sell some there (I don't recommend it as a seller, though as it is hugely time intensive to add cards).
